What we collect, and why
When you use our contact form
We collect the name, email address, telephone number, subject and message you enter. We use this only to respond to your enquiry. The lawful basis is legitimate interests: answering someone who has asked us to get in touch.
Form submissions are sent to our email inbox. We keep enquiry correspondence for as long as it is relevant to a live or prospective engagement, and review it periodically.
When you book a call
Our booking page is provided by Google Calendar appointment scheduling. When you book, you provide your name, email address and any details you add, and Google processes that data as part of providing the service. The appointment appears in our calendar and you receive a Google Meet invitation. Google’s handling of that data is governed by the Google Privacy Policy.
When you email, call or message us on WhatsApp
We hold the contact details and the content of the conversation for as long as it is relevant. WhatsApp messages are processed by WhatsApp under its own terms.
Server and security logs
Our hosting provider records standard web server logs, including IP addresses, for security and troubleshooting. Our security plugin records login attempts and blocked requests for the same purpose.
Cookies
We do not use advertising or analytics cookies, and we do not track you across other websites.
WordPress may set a cookie if you log in to the site, which applies only to site administrators. Our booking page, which is embedded from Google, may set cookies when you interact with it.
Who we share data with
We do not sell personal data and we do not share it for marketing. We use the following processors:
- Google, for email, calendar and the booking page
- IONOS, our web hosting provider
- Akismet, which checks form submissions for spam
We may also share information where we are required to by law.
Where your data is held
Our hosting is in the European Economic Area. Google may process data outside the UK and EEA under its standard contractual clauses.
Your rights
You have the right to ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected, to have it deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive it in a portable format. To exercise any of these, email info@bridgesolutions.org.uk and we will respond within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
Children
Our student placement work often involves children. Where we hold information about a child, we do so on the instruction of their parent or guardian, or of the institution engaging us, and we hold it only for as long as that engagement requires.

We will update this page if what we do changes, and will change the date at the top.
